Paul Neville was elected the Federal Member for Hinkler in 1993, and has held the seat for every ensuing election. The Hinkler Division is considered one of the most marginal seats in Australian Federal politics and Paul has fought hard at each election to now be the longest serving member for that seat.
He has lived in the Bundaberg region with his wife Margaret and five children for more than 30 years, and before being elected to Federal Parliament worked with the Bundaberg and District Tourism and Development Board to promote all aspects of the region.
He is presently a National Party Whip.
Throughout his term, Paul has acted as patron to many community organisations and is an active member of Rotary.
